Feature

March 26, 2011

Beast Make Bomb take on Texas.

Originally hailing from different states across the US, the four members of Beast Make Bomb – Hartley Lewis, Ceci Gomez, Sam Goldfine and Glenn VanDyke – met while attending New York University and officially formed as a band in 2009. After winning the Converse/Journey’s Get out of the Garage music contest, the band went to Austin for a week of gigs, grub, and general madness before embarking on their first national tour. We followed their every step.

Episode 1: BMB hit the ground in Austin and talk about how they formed as a band. They also stroll South Congress for some food truck lovin’ and shop for that next great onstage t-shirt.

Episode 2: BMB get ready for their first gig at La Zona Rosa in front of a packed house. Check out the build-up, the performance, and how they felt as soon as they walked off stage.

Episode 3: BMB tear it up at the Rolling Stone Rock and Roll BBQ and reflect on a well-played week. They rip “Zombie Song” among others and give us their thoughts as they head out out on their first national tour with Tokyo Police Club and The Whigs.
