Way back when, Converse set up shop in Massachusetts. We started out making sneakers that play Basketball, Rock & Roll and everything else. Over the years, we made our way all over the place, found our way into all sorts of things—and now we’re coming back home.
On October 15th, Converse opened its first-ever specialty store. We’re serving up a collection of sneakers, apparel and accessories—as well as a new line of premium denim—you can’t find anywhere else. We’re also featuring an in-store customization area where Converse people can make Converse stuff truly their own with one-of-a-kind graphics, colored laces and who-knows-what else.
To celebrate our grand opening in Boston, we rounded up over 200 local kids, took their pictures and connected them by their Converse. Then we headed over to Park Street Station—a major crossover point for Boston subway lines that hosts over 104,000 people every day—and hung up the so-called Connectivity campaign in every possible place we could.
Born in Boston and back again—because you never forget your first.
